YOUR PATH

Yours is the Power to Create

True lasting change does not depend on money, reputation, or high office. It depends on how serious we are about welcoming in the new.

"Such is oft the course of deeds that move the wheels of the world: small hands do them because they must while the eyes of the great are elsewhere."

–J. R. R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

6 steps for worldreaders:

Old City Steps

1

Soak up what is offered on this website. Most of it is free. The main writings are the blogs. "Worldreading" is a key text that gives examples of how to put the tools and practices to use. Try them out.

2

Start building a picture of the kind of world you would most like to live in. Visualize it in detail. Jot down what you see. What is safe about this world? Delightful? Inspiring? How does it feel to live there?

3

Start collecting the kinds of tales that inspire you and that might inspire others. These can be anecdotes, events, film or theater scenes, fairytales, folktales, myths, legends, short stories, novels: tales that fill out 2. above.

4

Tune in to the Nousroom live stream on most Fridays at 9 am. You will hear basic descriptions and practical applications of Worldread ideas and practices.

4

Become a teller of inspiring tales! We're all storytellers. You need not be a professional one. Download a folder full of resources to get started. Remember that solutions, fixes, and reforms abound, but not storytellers whose tales strengthen, enrich, and empower.
